When it's southern gospel music, speaking for myself I like the PA set
pretty loud, but some people are different. One night a lady
approached Kenny Gates at a concert where the Blue Ridge quartet was
singing and said-

"The PA system is TOO LOUD"!
Kenny pointed to Bill Crowe and said "He's the man who takes care of
the PA set. Go talk to him."

She went to Bill Crowe and said, "The PA set is TOO LOUD"
Crowe replied, "Sorry,I didn't hear you"
She repeated "The PA set is TOO LOUD"
"What?" Bill cupped his hand behind his ear.
"The PA set is too loud"
"I'm sorry," Bill said "I can't hear you."

"THE PA SET IS TOO LOUD"

"Lady, I can't understand a word you're saying," Bll said, "The PA set
has been so loud all night it's got me where I can't hear a lick!"

LOL! Remember the story about Cat Freeman yelling that JD's mic was
too loud?

I saw the Masters V in Spartanburg, SC one time. They started out with "He's
A Personal Savior."

JD Sumner had a line by himself early in the song. He adapted the lyric to:
"He'll take me through, as long as we cut up this mic."

On the next verse, Jake Hess put an extra emphasis on: "some people seem to
get so near him, then TURN HIM DOWN."

Got a laugh...
