We've booked on this year's Gaither Alaskan Cruise. Has anyone been on
previous Alaskan Cruises with Bill and would like to share their
experiences?

No, I've never been, but now that you brought it up, I'm jealous.
We'll pray that you & yours are richly blessed by the experience.

I've taken lots of cruises, but never a Gaither Cruise. Is you have
questions regarding cruising in general, I'd be glad to help. Post here or
email me directly.

Thanks

Just got back from our 8th cruise to the Caribbean. Won't take a gospel
cruise because it costs WAY more than we pay for a regular cruise.
Closing the bars and casino is WAY overrated.
Templeton told me they have to actually PAY the groups to perform. Sheesh,
you would think they would perform just for going on the free cruise.

I tend to agree with you JR... been on 5-6 cruises, and never even came
close to paying the rates I see advertised for most SoGos cruises.

And I've never seen anything "out of hand" so to speak either in the lounge
/ bar areas or casino's... it's just really not that big a deal whether
they're open or not, iMHO.

I do understand that for most cruise situations, the groups do not get
paid... but the cruise is free. I know for sure that many groups promote
cruises for this exact reason... it becomes the group vacation, paid for by
everyone that goes with them.

Nothing at all wrong with that.... I'm just saying.
