Statesmen/Gordon Hill ?

Although the "classic" Statesmen are all gone, two of their original
members are still living: lead Mosie Lister and bass Gordon Hill
(Stephen Hill's dad). I've never heard or read of Gordon Hill singing
after he left the Statesmen. Does anyone know if he stayed in Gospel
music? Did he sing with any other groups?

After Gordon Hill left the Statesmen, he sang with CR Melton and the
All American Quartet. Bill Shaw was the tenor singer in that
quartet. He later sang with the Revelaires Quartet for a couple of
years.

I think that was the end of his professional gospel singing career.

I sent Gordon some Revelaires recordings a few years ago and got a
nice handwritten letter from him thanking me for remembering him.
