Johnny Cook was one of the best tenors to ever sing Southern Gospel
Music. Voted the Singing News Fan Award for Favorite Tenor in 1974 &
1975, and Male Vocalist of the Year by the Gospel Music Association's
Dove awards in 1976, Johnny Cook was a tenor's tenor.
Before singing with The Happy Goodman Family, The Florida Boys and
Hovie Lister and The
Statesmen Quartet, Johnny Cook sang with two other groups.
Who were they?
